House in Figueira da Foz
The "Casa na Figueira" project oversees the refurbishment of an apartment in Figueira da Foz. An apartment of indefinite history composed of different periods of construction and alterations, as is common in historical areas such as these.
The concept is defined around a central volume that distributes the social areas of the house. There is no requirement for traditional elements, but rather the recombining of elements, materials, atmospheres and proportions to restore an ideal of living within the space.
An architecture that integrates few elements, but that seeks a quality in the use of materials, establishing a sense of authenticity and timelessness.
